I have the honour to report that the Native Affairs Committee, consisting of seventeen members, has held thirty-three meetings during the session, the average attendance at each meeting being eight. Including thirty-two petitions brought forward from last session, the Committee had before it one hundred petitions. Seventy-four petitions were reported on and twenty-six are held over. Eleven parliamentary papers were duly considered and reported on. 1 he Native Land Amendment Bill and the Native Purposes Bill were considered and reported on. J.
