CYCLING TRAFFIC.

The Hon. J. G. Ward has introduced the Cycling Traffic Bill into the House of Representatives at the request of the Christchurch wheelmen. The measure is to empower the local authorities to define what are called ‘ cycle areas,’ within which all cycles must be registered and pay a license fee of 5s per annum, the local authorities expending the license fees in laying, down tracks within the area.
