GAMING BILL IN UPPER HOUSE
SECOND READING GIVEN (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 17. The Legislative Council to-night gave the Gaming Amendment Bill a second reading on a division by 30 votes to six. .
The six who voted against the bill were Messrs C. W. D. Bell, T. Bloodworth, W. Grounds, B. McLeod, J. T. Paul, and Ur. O. C. Mazengarb.
