SEVERAL DEATHS IN JAPAN (Rec. 10.15 a.m.) TOKIO, Aug. IG. Eighteen persons died from sleeping sickness in Tokio yesterday, bringing to 59 the total number of deaths from this disease this year. Another 156 confirmed and G 3 suspected cases—Bo per cent, of them children under 14—were in hospital.
