v • CHILD DROWNED (P.A.) - AUCKLAND, Nov. 11. A child whose seventh birthday would have occurred to-morrow was drowned in a swimming rool at Kamo, near Whangarei, early this evening. The child was Reese Wilson Telfer, a son of Mr and Mrs Frederick Wilson Telfer, of Kamo. During the late afternoon, the child, with a five-year-old boy, Isaac Neville Proctor, was playing near his home, but later the two children wandered to a swimming pool a short distance away. About 5.45 p.m. the younger boy returned to his home and told his mother that Reese, who could not ewim, had fallen into the water. With assistance of neighbours, the pool was partly drained and the body of the child found. >
