REFUSAL TO RESIGN
. STAND BY FOUR HUNGARIAN BISHOPS (Rec. 10.25 a.m.) ROME, Jan. 10. Four Hungarian bishops have been asked to resign by the Hungarian Government but they have refused to obey until they hear from the Vatican. According to the Italian News Agency, quoted by the British United Press, all are said to be supporters of Cardinal Mindszenty, who was recently arrested on charges of high treason.
