(Rec. 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 6. The King received in audience Mr Attlee, Lord Claredon (Lord Chamberlain), Six’ William Gilliatt (Princess Elizabeth’s gynaecologist) the latter of whom lie invested with the insignia of Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order. This is the largest number of audiences the King has given in one day since the announce* ment of his illness.
