MAIN BODY REUNION PROPOSED
ANNIVERSARY OF SAILING FOR EGYPT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 16. The Main Body Association proposes to hold a reunion of members of the Main Body of the First N.Z.E.F. at Wellington in October. It will be 33 years in that month since 10 transports sailed for Egypt carrying about 8000 members of the original New Zealand Expeditionary forces of the Great War. It is hoped that. Sir Bernard Freyberg and Sir Alexander Russell. who commanded the First Division will be present.
