CHINESE KILLED.

REPRISAL FOR RAID ON TOKIO. LONDON, April 29. The Japanese were not content with executing the United States airmen who were captured in the raid on Tokio last year, but also killed every man, woman and child in the coastal areas of China where the bulk of the raiders ultimately landed. This was disclosed last night bv the United States Secretary of the Treasury (Mr H. L. Morgen than) when speaking in California. Mr Morgenthou said he had received the information from General Chiang Kai-shek, who saw a parallel between the Japanese action on this occasion, and that when the Germans destroyed the Czechoslovakian village of Lidice in revenge for the Assassination of the Gestapo leader Heydrich.
