ASHBURTON STOCK MARKET.

ANOTHER GOOD SALE.

PRICES REMAIN STEADY. The stock sale at the Ashburton yards to-day was a very keen one. There was a big entry of fat sheep and prices were on a par with those ruling at Tinwald last week. Freezing buyers again operated freely. Prices ranged as follow': Fat ewes 10s 7d to 24s 4d, fat wethers 18s 9d to 28s lOd, fat lambs 22s 6d to 28s 6d. The main sales before noon were: —

Fat Ewes—On account of H. W. Doak (Seafield) 3 at 15s 4d, 7 at 18s 4d, 8 at 19s Id; J. J. O’Grady (Winchmore) 1 at 19s, 13 at 14s lOd; West Bros.
