COMPENSATION ACT.
LEGISLATION IN FIJI.
(Received This Day, 1.10 p.m.) SUVA. May 28. The Legislative Council passed the Workmen’s Compensation Act, which is bein gintroduced into Fiji for the first time. It will not apply to agriculture or coconut plantations. The minimum claim in the event of-death is £IOO and the maximum is £6QQ'.
