NAVAL AGREEMENT.

ITALY AND LONDON TREATY. RATIFICATION SIGNED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Re«eived This Day, 9.55 a.m.) LONDON, December 2. The instrument of ratification whereby Italy adheres to the London Naval Treaty was signed at the Foreign Office to-day by Count Grandi. After signing the naval instrument, Count Grandi was handed a communication notifying Italy that although the treaty limits capital ships to 45,000 tons, Britain’s present intention is not to build beyond 40,000, unless other European countries e'xceeded that limit, in which case she would immediately 7 advise Italy.
