JAPANESE BUDGET.
BIG DRAIN FOR WAR PURPOSES. (United Press Association—Copyright.) TIKIO, September 27. The Japanese Budget is estimated at £265,000,000, including £100,000,000 for new demands covering national defence expansion facilities “behind the guns.” The fighting services demand a special military budget in order to finance the hostilities, after the fall of Hankow, which the Chinese are still vigorously defending.
