A MOTOR FATALITY.

INVERCARGILL MAN’S DEATH. (Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, This Day. Injuries which subsequently proven fatal were sustained last evening by Mr Percy Jagc Israel. When riding a bicycle lie collided with a motor-car driven by Mr J. A. Walker, of Bluff, suffering a fracture of the skull and severe abrasions. Ho was removed to the hospital, where lie died at 11 o’clock. Mr Israel, who was 55 years of age, was well-known in Southland as chief clqj’k in the Invercargill office of D'algety and Company, by whom lie had been employed for 35 years, about 25 of them being spent at Invercargill. He was also widely known as a bowler. He leaves a widow and one son, Mr George Israel, lecturer at the University of Tasmania, Hobart.
