BOROUGH BYELECTION
A CANDIDATE NOMINATED. MR, H. W. SHERRATT. Mr H. W. iSherratt, an ex-president of the Advance Ashburton Association, to-day signed Tiis nomination paper as a candidate for the seat on the Borough Council rendered vacant by the death of Mr H. R, C. MdElrea. Nominations close on Monday, March 1, and the date of the by-election, if necessary, has been fixed for March 12.
