THE ASHBURTON ASSOCIATION. MATCHES ON SATURDAY. The Ashburton Basketball Association’s competitions were continued on Saturday in good weather. In the senior grade, and notably in the match between Tinwald and Technical Old Girls’ B, there were some victories by large margins. Results: — Senior.—Rokeby 21, Chertsey 10; St. Stephen’s 16, High School Old Girls 13; Technical Old Girl’s A 20, Convent Old Girls 5; Tinwald 41, Technical Old Girl’s 88. . Junior.—Technical A 13, Hampstead 6; Tinwald 25, High School Old Girls 3; St. Stephen’s B 13, Technical Old Girls 12; Allenton 27, Technical Old Girls 6; Winchmore 17, St. Stephen’s A 13; Convent Old Girls 2-1, High School B 12; St. Andrew’s 10, High School A 8; Tinwald 18, Technical 15; Hinds a bye. Third Grade:—Allenton 15, St. Stephen’s 4; Technical Al 9 ; Technical C 15; Allenton 27, Technical A 12; Technical B defeated Hampstead by default.
