DUCHESS OF KENT.
FEWER PUBLIC ENGAGEMENTS. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 17. The “Daily Mail” learns that the Duchess of Kent will probably begin to curtail her public engagements in the late summer.
The Duke and Duchess will then spend more time at “The Coppihs,” tlieir country home in Buckinghamshire, where the police after the episode at Wellington Arch yesterday, have increased the police protection.
