PETITION TO HIS MAJESTY. UNIFORM LEGISLATION SOUGHT. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 17. A petition from the Women’s Freedom Leagues, containing the signatures of 3000 women of Britain, the Dominions, Bermuda and Ceylon, will be presented to the King, through the Home Office, to-morrow. The petitioners pray that his Majesty ask the respective Governments to adopt uniform legislation giving married women independent nationality in their own persons, similar to men and single women.
