NEW ZEALAND GRAND PRIX. CHRISTCHURCH, April 13. A motor-cycle road race over a 152mile course was held at Oust to-day. The race, which was described as the New Zealand Grand Prix, was won by W. Nelson, riding a 500 c.c. Norton, who covered "the course cit mi sv ei speed of 56.8 miles on hour. He won by nearly three minutes. At the Wellington Tennis Association’s Easter tournament to-day the following final was played: Women’s Doubles —Miss D. Nicholls and Mrs 'Dickson beat Mrs Latham and Miss Fernie, 6-2, 6-3. . TOURNAMENT AT DUNEDINDUNEDIN, April 13. In the women’s singles filial of the South Island and Otago championships, Miss D. Miller (Oamaru) beat Miss T. Poole (Christchurch), 6-1, 6-0.
