MILLER DISQUALIFIED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 13. _ * At the Sydney Stadium to-night in a 15-round bout, an American, Johnny Miler, 12st 101 b, was disqualified in the 11th round of a contest with a .Newcastle boy, Young Campbell, 12st 61b, who received the decision. Miler was repeatedly warned for illegal punches, and eventually the police intervened and a poor fight. FRANKLIN AMONG THE SPRINGBOKS. SAYS FIGHTS PLENTIFUL. In a letter received recently Joey Franklin indicates that he is having a great time in South Africa, where he is running up a good wad. Fights are plentiful and the payment good, and, taking a line on his letter, it seems as if Joey will be an absentee for many moons to come unless some New Zealand association offers him a guarantee to come home and show the present bunch of light-weights how much he has learned abroad.
