THE WREATHS AT WINDSOR. THOUSANDS BTILL FILING PAST. (United Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, February 2, From dawn to dusk to-day 130,000 people filed past the wreaths sent to the funeral of King George. In all 250,000 people have passed by since January 29. The wreaths are still laid out in the grounds of Windsor Castle, and pilgrims came both by rail and road. A temporary car park is 12 miles long. Many of the visitors brought posies of violets which they laid down amon" the wreaths. At nightfall 20,000 people still filled a queue two miles long. The police decided not to close the castle, and those who came late had a fleeting glimpse of the flowers by torchlightIt has since been announced that the wreaths will continue to be on view tb-morrow. MOUNT HUTT ROAD BOARD’S RESOLUTION. At its meeting yesterday, the following resolution was carried by the Mt. Hutt Road Board: “That this board records its deep regret and sense ot profound loss sustained by the death of his Majesty King George A •» pectively expresses its sympathy wit the Royal Family in its bereavement.
