CANTERBURY TOURNAMENT. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The finals in the Canterbury Croquet Association’s twenty-second annual tournament resulted as follows: Open Championship—A. G. F. Ross beat Mrs Palmer, 17-26, 26-0, 26-17. Women’s Championship—First life: Mrs Maddren beat Mrs Palmer, 26-5 ; second life: Mrs Maddren beat Mrs Palmer 26-18. Izard Memorial Championship Doubles—Mrs Maddren and A. Murray beat Mrs Rinaldi and H. Neutze, 26-25. Handicap Singles—A. G. F. Ross (minus 3) beat .Mrs Henry (plus 4), 26-24. A Level Singles—Mrs Cowman beat Mrs Beanland 26-15.
