In ai friendly miniature rifle match with Staveley, at Mount Somers, the Mount Somers team won by 15 points. The scores were:—

THE MOUNT SOMERS CLUB. The Mount Somers Miniature Rifle Club held its final shoot of the season on Tuesday evening, there being a good attendance. Best scores off the rifle were:— Seniors—H; Hood 70-65, W- Morgan 68-66, Miss K. Bland 67, G. Morgan 67-67, G. Bland 65, L. Hood 63, F. Fyfe 60. Juniors—W. Gifkins 63, J. Harris 60, B. Meais 60. In a shoot-off for the final trophy between H. Hood, G. A. Bland, G. Morgan, Miss K. Bland, W. Morgan, and F. Fyfe, the former won with a
possible off the rifle, after three shoots. The junior trophy was won outright by B. Mears. Final scores are:— Woolmers Cup—K. Dunbar 1041. L. Hood 1028, F. Cornwell, H. Hood W. N.
