PHYSICAL TESTS ADVOCATED (United Press Association— Copyright) BERLIN, September 19. “Not pretty faces nor deep purses must be joined together in future, but iraeiallv and biologically people,” says Dr. Gudd, the Nazi expert on racial hygiene, in advocating compulsory physical tests before mairiage. . , TT Coincidently, the Reich Health Bureau has announced that during May 29,000 candidates for marriage aid loans were medically examined. Of this total 98 per cent satisfied the tribunal. Of 700 unsatisfactory candidates nearly half were rejected on account wf weakness of the mind or other psychic illness, including criminal tendencies. The bulk of the remainder were rejected for hereditary disease.
