PARADE IN THE STREETS.

Speeding at 20 miles an hour, t but noiselessly, because their caterpillars were covered with wood, .135 two-man tanks, each armed with two machineguns, toured tlie streets, amid the cheers of thousands of people. It was the first public appearance, apart from maifeuvres, of the “Victory” tank corps. The crews -wore black uniforms, and the section leaders carried black banners, hearing the skull and crosshones, the insignia of the corps.
