Thirty thousand British Ilidian troops, forming what is known as the “Mohforce,” are concentrated between Pasha war and Katsai, as preliminary to large-scale operations against the Mohmand tribesmen, ,who are seriously menacing the security of the North-west Frontier.

The British force holding a ninemile front, in which, it is stated, 1500 tribesmen are mustered beyond Nahakki Pass, hut with many thousands of others within call. The troops are frequently sniped, but up to the present there has been only one Indian casualty.
