MADAME ELSA STRALIA. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, April 29. An arrival by the Monowai from Sydney to-day, was Madame Elsa Stralia, the noted Australian soprano, who has come to New Zealand 'to marry Mr Adolph Christensen, of P'atea, The marriage would not take place for some time, said Madame. They first met at Patea four months ago when it was love at first sight. After having known each other only three days they became engaged. Now that New Zealand was to be her home, Madame added, she intended to do all she could to assist young New Zealand singers.
