COLLEGE JUBILEE.

ST. PATRICK'S, WELLINGTON. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The celebrations of the jubilee of St. Patrick's College were commenced today with Mass and Thanksgiving at the Basilica. The celebrant was Archbishop O'Shea, who was the first student at St. Patrick's, and the officiating priests were all old boys of St. Patrick's. The preacher was Dr. Mordane, who spoke on the subject of education. The Basilica was crowded, the attendance including very many from outside Wellington. Among the congratulatory messages is one from Cardinal Fumisoni Biondi (Cardinal Prefect of Propaganda at Rome) and another from Father Rien (Superior-General of the Society oi Mary, Rome).
