MR MACDONALD.

HIS HEALTH IMPROVED. LLOYD GEORGE’S SCHEME. (United Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, March 16. The health of the Prime Minister (Mr Ramsay MacDonald) has further improved, and he is expected to attend Parliament on Monday. He arrived in London from Chequers yesterday, and presided over a preliminary meeting of the Cabinet committee which has been formed to consider proposals submitted by Mr Lloyd George for tackling the unemployment problem. Besides Mr MacDonald, the committee consists of the Chancellor of the Exchequer, and the Secretaries of State, for War, the Colonies and the Dominions. It is anticipated that the Minister of 'Labour will join the committee when a. detailed examination of the proposals begins. The Prime Minister has informed Dir Lloyd George that he will certainly be invited to meet the committee, which lias been entrusted with the examination of his scheme.
