Two American detectives ha.ve arrived here to look for £300,000 worth of securities believed to be hidden in safe deposits in London and Paris by an official of a leading American finance corporation who absconded and committed suicide in a prison cell directly after he was arrested. This was in 1932. The corporation believes that the official hired safes under an assumed name. The corporation hopes to recover The securities.
