HAMPSON RETAINS FORM. T. E. Hampson, the Australian National Games and Centenary Games sprint champion, is reported to have run the fastest official 100 metres yet recorded in the Commonwealth when he sprinted over that distance at the Sydney Sports Ground a few days ago, in 10 3-ssec. The world's record for 100 metres is 3-10 sec better.
