EMPIRE BOYS' COMPETITION. NEW ZEALAND PLACED THIRD. LONDON, March 13. In the British Empire boys' miniature rifle shooting competition South Africa won the'King's Trophy with an average of 81.4 points out of a possible 100. New Zealand was third with 75.2. Australia did not qualify. H.M.S. Ganges won the Imperial Challenge Shield with 98.7 points. R.A.N.R, Hobart (93.0) was seventeenth and won the Forster Trophy. Rotorua High School (91.9) was twen-ty-third, and won the Jellicoe Trophy.
