NEW ZEALAND TOURNAMENT. AUCKLAND, March 12. Lieutenant-Colonel IDu Pre (England) beat R. Poulter (England) 26-3, in the men's championship singles at the New Zealand croquet tournament to-day. No final is necessary, Du Pre having won both lives against others. Other games in which the visitors figured were-:—■ Level Singles —i Mrs Kibblewhite
(Hamilton) beat Miss E. Washer (Patea), 26-21. Championship Doubles —Du Pre and Mrs Corbet beat H. P. i Stratton <Hawke's' Bay) and Mrs McMurray 26-1; Ward-Pettsr [(England) and Miss Skett beat Mesdames Kibblewhite and Hawken (Hamilton), 26-10; Captain Hartnell (New Plymouth) and Mrs Cald'ow beat G. Mouat and Mrs Mouat (Hutt) 26-11."
