SHOCK AT WIFE'S! DEATH. (United Press Association— Copyright) SYDNEY, February 18. An estate valued at £30,000 was left by Mr Victor Clement Black, aged 44, a well-known city manufacturer, who was recently found gassed in his office. On the door of the room in which he committed suicide he left a note warning people of the danger of gas. At the inquest, Mr Black's brother gave evidence that deceased's wife had died in December as the result of an overdose of ijv sleeping draught, and that her death was a groat shock to her husband. The Coroner, returning a verdict of suicide, said it would appear that Mr Black's' action was caused through illhealth f:itd a nervous state following the death of his wife.
