WORLD’S 1000 YARDS RECORD. The world’s track record of 2.11 1-5 for 1000 yards, which was set up by the Englishman Cyril Ellis in London in 1929, was beaten, in the united States of America, recently, hy Glenn Cunningham, noted American miler, who ran the distance in 2.11 1-10. Ot course, this time has yet to he approved officially.
