INCREASE IN NET REVENUE. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, January 28. Mr Sterling chairman of the Government Railways. Board, to-day announced the financial results or the ranway working up to January 6, 1934 For the four-weekly period which ended on that date the revenue showo.l an increase of £55,310. compared with the corresponding four-weekly period mat year, and the expenditure showed an 'increase of £5038, resulting in an increase in net revenue of £50,2/2. 'I oi the portion of the financial year from April 1, 1933, to January 6, 1934, the revenue showed an increase of £164,241 and the expenditure a decrease oi £39,082, resulting in an increase in net revenue for that portion of the financial year of £203,323 as compared with .the corresponding portion of the previous financial year.
