Crying, “Long live the King!” students rioted in Madrid, where they douched the University vice-rector with a bucket of water and smashed furmture. . The Republican Students’ Union at Seville rioted, resulting in several -arrests and the closing of the University. Small bombs were thrown into the University buildings at Valencia, destroying furniture.
