DRAW FOR WOMEN'S MATCHES
Following is the draw for the Ashburton Women's Hockey Association's competition matches, to be played on Saturday', which commence the second round:—
('Senior A grade—Kerone v. Tinwald, at Allenton (Mr E. M. Gabites); High School v. Hinds, at Hinds (Mr A. G. McHardy) ; Methven. a bye. Senior B grade—High School Old Girls v. Springburn, at Ashburton, 1.30 p.m. (Mr E. M. Gabites); Baring Square v. Rakaia, at Rakaia (Mr A. Fdwards); Ashburton v. Lauriston, at Ashburton (Mr W. B. Thomas). Junior grade—High School A v. Methven, at Ashburton, 1.30 p.m. (Mr S. W. Gower); Hinds v. High School B, at Hinds, 1.30 p.m. (Mr A. G. McHardy) ; Lowclift'e v. Mt. Somers, at Mt. Somers (Miss E. Scott).
TEAMS FOR SATURDAY. The following will represent their respective olubs in: ladies' hockey matches on Saturday:— 1 Methven. Juniors, v. High School A, at Ashburton—Daphne Rouse, Jean #Kilworth, Jean Mcßobie, Nancy Ayers, Roma Street, Gwen Owen,' Joy Cleeve, Doris Owen, Madge Williams, Olive Williams, Josie Mcintosh. Springburn. Against High School Old Girls, at Ash/burton —E. Norman, L. Smith, E. Sullivan, W. Lamb, M. Pagan, P. Lamb, A. Smith, M. Sullivan, E. Armstrong, N. Moody, M. Smith. MEN'S ASSOCIATION DRAW. The draw for the matches on Saturday in the Mid-Canterbury Men's Hockey Association's competitions is as follows:—■ Senior grade—Baring Square v. »St. Andrew's, at 1.30 p.m. (Messrs E. Davidson and W. C. Bishop); Ashburton v. St. Stephen's, at 3 p.m. (Messrs E. Davidson and W. C. Bishop). Junior grade—Tinwald v. St. Stephen's, at 1.30 p.m. (Mr W. B. Thomas); Baring Square v. St. Andrew's, at 3 p.m. (Mr S. W. Gower).
