DELAY ON APPLICATIONS. (Per Press Association) fDUNiEDIN, This Day. • At a meeting held at Cromwell it was decided to protest against the delay of the Minister in giving his final der-isiGn to miners applications before the Warden's Court. The meeting maintained that the delay in dealing with applications was retarding progress and widespread development of mining. It was decided to organise a delegation to meet public bodies and; business interests in Dunedin to arouse interest in the protest: " '
