WORLD RANKING LIST. PARIS, December 7. Jean Bbrotra, ranking the world's leading lawn tennis players on their 1932 form, modestly omits himself and places them as follow: H. Ellsworth Vines (U.S.). Henri Cochet (France). Wilmer F. Allison (U.S.). Clifford S. Sutter (U.S.). Dan D. Prenn (Germany). Fred. J. Perry (England). G. von Cramm (Germany). H. W. Austin (England). J. B. Crawford (Australia).

With the exception of his own position, Borotra's list agrees identically frith that of Mr Wallis Myers, the noted cricket and tennis correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph," London. MiMyers places Borotra in third place,

Borotra's only appearance .in first-class tennis in the past season was in the challenge round of the Davis Cup series, in which he met and defeated Vines.

A CHAMPION PLAYER.

TO PLAY AT MASTERTON. MASTERTON, Dee. 7. v Although it was announced that it was improbable that he would be playing tennis in New Zealand on account of ear trouble contracted in the East, for which he is at present undergoing treatment, Mr E. D. Andrews has agreed to play exhibition games in Masterton on Wednesday, December 14. Mr Andrews's action is prompted by his appreciation of the way he was always treated at local tournaments. His opponents or partners 'will be J. N. Lowry (Hawke's Bay) and N. R. C. Wilson (Wellington) and another player to be arranged. Andrews is to be partnered with Lowry for the doubles event at the New Zealand championship tournament.

Guist (South Australia), 6-2, 6-4, 3-6, 8-6. J. B. Crawford (New South Wales) defeated K. 'Gledhill, 6-7, 7-5, 1-6, 3-6, 11-9. 0. E. Sproule played V. B. MeGrath, 13-11, 6-8, 6-2, 3-6. Miss N. Hall (New South Wales) defeated Mrs van Ryn, 4-6, 6-1, 7-5. Mrs van Ryn andl Miss Anthony defeated Miss Wrigley and Miss Lewis, 6-2, 6-4.
