VANCOUVER, January 13.
A heated controversy has arisen over the British Columbian Government decreeing compulsory saluting of the Union Jack outdoors at schools every Monday. The opponents declare that the practice in distinctly anti-British and pro-United States, has not tended to inculcate real British patriotism.
