FIVE-ROOMED HOUSE BURNED.

The five-roomed house of Mr R. Grieve, a farmer, of Springburn was destroyed Tjv fire at about 11 o clock on Saturday night. Mr Grieve was absent at a meeting at the time, and Mrs Grieve, who is deaf, was in bed, and had jutfr time to escape. 'Practically nothing was saved.
