RETURN TO MILD CONDITIONS.

Ideal weather was experienced yesterday, the maximum temperature being" 56.6 degrees. A mild frost ot 5.4 degrees' intensity was recorded this morning, and pleasant conditions prevailed again to-day. The sun shone brio-htly this morning, but a thick haze covered the sky after mid-day, clouds banking up during the afternoon. The atmosphere was warm. The barometric pressure at 9 o'clock this morning was 29.85 inches, as against 29.73' yesterday and 30.08 on Saturday. TO-DAY'S FORECAST. The following forecast was issued todav:— " Indications are for moderate winds, northerly prevailing, and later freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with some showers in the back-country. The barometer is unsteady, but has a rising tendency soon. J
