THE WEATHER.
SUNSHINE AND WARMTH. The weather to-day, though cloudy in the early morning was bright and, with the exception of a few light and fleecy clouds, the sky was clear. The barometer at 9 o'clock this morning stood at 30.1 inches, compared with 30.11 inches yesterday. The maximum and minimum temperatures yesterday were 61 and 53 degrees respectively com pared with 76 and 53 on Monday. OFFICIAL FORECAST. The following forecast was issued to-day:— Indications are for easterly moderate to strong winds, and backing by east to north. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, and warmer. Barometer falling shortly.
