RINKS COMPETITION. The rinks competition of the Ashburton Bowling Club was advanced a stage further on Saturday, when two games were played. Details are as follows : v Brown, McClymont, Hardy, Doherty (s) 18, beat McElhinney, Mcddins, J. Watson, Buxton (s) 15. Flannigan, Sawle, Dunn, Easteibrook (s) 26, beat Moore, Co wen, A. T. Smith, Higgins (s) 15. In a match for the club singles button W. H. Higgins beat R. Buxton, by 20 to 12.
