A BAPTIST COLLEGE.

GIFT OF A BUILDING. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, December 30. A handsome and commodious building on the slopes of Mount Hobsons has been presented to the Baptist Union of New Zealand as the home for the New Zealand Baptist College in Auckland. Seven members of the Church, animated by a desire for service, have given this large and suitable house, which is built of brick, and situated on the slopes of the mountain at the corner of the Market and Remuera roads ,for use as a residential college. The house was the property of Mi- H. M. Smeeton. The Baptist College, of which the Rev. J. J. North is principal, will enter into possession toward the end of next year.
