HOUSING LEGISLATION.

LONDON, June 6. In the House of Commons Mr Wheatley (Minister of Health) formally introduced a Bill to prevent . excessive charges for building materials, and providing for the security of adequate supply of such materials. The Bill, which was read a first time, is a companion measure to the Government’s Housing Bill.
