SIKI-CARPENTIER FIGHT. A CONDITIONAL PERMISSION. (Pea’ Press Association, Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 12. The Boxing Federation has sanctioned the Carpentier-Siki match, provided the ' whole and cinema rights go to scientific research.
ASHBURTON TENNIS CLUB.* MATCH AGATNST TIMARU. A match between the Timaru and Ashburton Clubs will be played on the Ashburton Club’s courts on Saturday. The following team has been selected to represent the Ashburton Club:— Messrs Pinfold, Partridge, Grut, Francis. Henderson, Wood, Bonnington, and Porter, Mrs Seldon, Misses Stewart, Percy, Digby, Cowan, Bodldington, Bonnington and Dunlop.
