HINDS

There ! was a fair attendance of householders in the school on Monday. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. Votes of thanks to the retiring committee and to the teaching staff, especially to, the headmaster; who was congratulated for tho interest he takes in the welfare of his pupils, were carried. The following were elected: Messrs J. M. Hampton (chairman), S. Watson (secretary), J. R. Elms, A. McKenzie. and J. D. Paterson.
