SPRINGBURN.
At the meeting of householders held in the school on Monday evening 19 householders were present. Mr James McFarlane was voted to the chair. The report and balance-sheet for the year was read and adopted. Seven nominations were received for five committeemen, and on a ballot being taken, Messrs D. Syme, Hooper, Walker, W. Grieve, and L. Syme were elected. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chairman and to the outgoing committee.
